Alyssa Seagraves
I’m proud of you for taking this big step!
It is super brave. I know that the idea of starting therapy can be intimidating and scary. Therapy is highly stigmatized and we’re taught from a young age that asking for help is a sign of weakness. However, I believe that taking this step shows immeasurable strength! I am here to walk hand-in-hand with you while shedding light on what you are struggling with; to help you see the greatest parts of yourself and work through the depths of your pain.

A wise mentor once told me that therapists serve as mirrors for their clients- we aim to reflect to you your thoughts and emotions in a way that can help you process and understand them better. I whole-heartedly stand by that sentiment.
My job is not to fix people or repair the “broken”. I don’t believe that people are broken or damaged at all, and I certainly believe that no one is beyond helping should they choose to seek it.
I come from a place of warmth and empathy and my goal is to provide a safe space for you to explore all of the hard and seemingly insurmountable feelings.
Every person is unique and I like to customize my approach according to each person’s individual needs. I am excited to get to know YOU!
