Matt Ercolani

Let's take the first step, together

It has been said that in life, it is not the destination, but the journey that is the important part. That may be true, but sometimes, the journey sure is tough to get through! It is my goal as a counselor to walk with you on your journey as you discover aspects of yourself and the world around you so that you can start living your best life.

We will work together to help you overcome issues such as anxiety, depression, life changes, negative self-talk, self-defeating thoughts, grief and loss, and figuring out your identity and core beliefs.

As a clinician, I believe in taking a strengths-based approach to help you figure out how to become the best version of yourself. To do this, I incorporate elements of rational-emotive behavior therapy (REBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), choice theory, and positive psychology in our sessions.

I believe that everyone has the potential to improve their life. I also believe that *everyone* deserves the chance to try to find happiness. Regardless of where you come from, or where you are going, let's take the first step together to help you get there.
