Difficulty managing your feelings and behaviors? Struggling with relationships? Feeling anxious or depressed? Confused about who you are? Feeling out of balance, anxious, or depressed can make life challenging, affecting your mood, your relationships, and your actions.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills group emphasizes taking action and changing thoughts through using specific coping techniques and psychoeducation.
DBT is an effective treatment approach for helping people make positive and long-term behavior changes to create a life worth living. Skills group is similar to taking a class.
We learn and practice skills from four modules.
Who Should Attend
This DBT program is designed for adolescents aged 13 to 18 years old, or those enrolled in high school.
If you’re struggling with any of the following, you may be a candidate for DBT:
|Emotional dysregulation||Interpersonal relationships|
|Impulse control||Depression and anxiety|
|Self-harming behaviors||Suicidal ideations/urges/attempts|
|Issues related to trauma, grief, and/or loss||Self-esteem issues|
|Disordered eating||High-risk behaviors that interfere with everyday life|

How to Enroll
Please contact us for a brief consultation, either via email or telephone. Prior to official enrollment, we will schedule an individual, initial session to make sure this program is a great fit for you. These meetings are approximately 30 minutes and are scheduled in the morning or on Saturdays.
Space is limited. Enrollment ends two weeks prior to the first day of a new module.
