So happy you're here!
I want to start off by giving you a virtual high five for taking your first step in the counseling process! You deserve to be here. You deserve to be heard, listened to, cared for, and respected. You deserve the opportunity to be a part of a process where you are able to grow and heal without judgement.
Oftentimes, life has a funny way of throwing us some curveballs. Sometimes you might feel like you can’t handle it, but I’m here to tell you that you can. I believe that you are the expert on yourself and your life, and my role is just to help guide you to be your best, most complete self. This could include tackling whatever stress, anxiety, depression, or trauma you are experiencing currently, or have experienced in the past. This could also include allowing you
to vent or process your feelings about the people or things that make you feel angry, upset, or insecure. It might also include working towards tackling those pesky thoughts you can’t seem to get rid of when you find yourself up at night, or trying to focus during your day.
I encourage my clients to develop mindful awareness and insight into their own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. When we can utilize your strengths and your skills, in combination with identifying what the behavior or thought is that you want to change, then that is when real growth and progress will occur. Thank you for showing up, and for taking the first step towards living the life you deserve to live. I cannot wait to be your guide and cheerleader throughout this process!
